Seshat ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered invoicing platform operated by Hideolab Sh.p.k, Durrës, Lagjja 3, Sheshi Liria, EGT Center Kt.4, Nr. 24, Albania. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our service.

2. Data we collect

We collect the following data when you use Seshat:

  • Account data — name, email address, and password (encrypted).
  • Business data — company name, VAT number, and contact details you provide.
  • Invoice data — content of invoices you create using the platform.
  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, and browser/device information.
  • Payment data — handled by Paddle; we do not store your card details.

3. How we use your data

Your data is used to:

  • Provide and improve the Seshat service.
  • Generate invoices via AI on your behalf.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription.
  • Send you transactional emails (e.g. password reset, billing receipts).
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your invoice content to train AI models.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on servers within the European Union. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest) and access controls to protect your information. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as required by law.

5. Third-party services

We share data with the following sub-processors:

  • Anthropic — AI model provider (Claude) for invoice generation.
  • Paddle — payment processing and subscription management.
  • WorkOS — social login (Google OAuth).

Each sub-processor is bound by contractual data protection obligations and applicable regulations (GDPR).

6. Your rights

Under GDPR (and applicable laws), you have the right to: access, correct, delete, or export your data; restrict or object to processing; and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@seshat.so.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Changes to this policy
